The highly anticipated sixth book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the half-blood prince, may not go on sale until Saturday, July 16th, July, but local bookstores will be celebrating Friday night. Both Barnes & Noble on Ray Road and Borders on 54th Street will be hosting Harry Potter Parties and will be staying open through midnight (when the book officially goes on sale.)
