Ahwatukee 2004 Easter Parade and Carnival

The annual Ahwatukee Easter Parade and Carnival promises to be a morning full of fun, music and specatacle! The event begings at 10 a.m. April 10th. It will have more than 60 groups and 1,000 participants.

Bands from Desert Vista and Mountaine Point high schools and Kyrene Akimel A-al and Altedena middle schools will strut their stuff and fill the air with enjoyable music, while the parade floats dazzle spectators eyes.

This is the 28th annual parade organized by the Kiwanis Club of Ahwatukee, and like years past, promises to be a down-home, small town parade. The parade begins at 48th Street and Warner Road, and proceeds north on 48th Street to Elliot Road. After the parade, the Spring Carnival kicks begins at Mountain Vista Park, on 50th street north of Ray Road. Be sure to bring chairs and blankets, so you can be comfortable as you enjoy the 90 minute show.

For information, contact event organizers at the Kiwanis Club, (480) 496-4250.
