Fitness Center Shake Up

Mountainside Fitness Center is losing its lease and will close its Ahwatukee branch on February 29th. No concrete plans have been made to re-open in another location, leaving some Ahwatukee residents in the lurch.

The owners of Foothills Athletic Club, Cindy & Mike Chilton, are offering a membership to their fitness center at The Mountainside Rate.  What A deal!

Ahwatukee Spirit Award

Susan Ballman has been named as the 2004 Spirit of Ahwatukee Foothills award recipient by the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce.

She has been recognized by the community for all the excellent work she’s done for the Festival of Lights.

She was honored at the Chamber’s sixth annual Chamber Day Luncheon and Trade Show, 10am–2pm February 17 at the Grace Inn on 10831 S. 51st St.
