Karma Milk and Healing

Living in Arizona has many advantages and one of them is the fact that we
live In a town with beautiful resorts and hotels to visit.

From time to time Elissa and Drew and I enjoy having a change of scenery,
and we sometimes choose to take a one-day vacation and stay over night at
some of these gorgeous properties. It is kind of like a no travel vacation,
which tends to be easier with an 11 month old baby girl.

Ok, folks so hold onto your hats. Recently, Elissa and I splurged and
actually had some dessert cookies that were made with sugar. No not maple
syrup, and they did not taste like cardboard if any of the members of our
family are reading this.--GRIN-

We actually went wild and had some regular old chocolate chip cookies. I
mean it was a holiday weekend and whole foods was too far of a drive.

Ok, so back to the story.

So we are about to eat our cookies and Elissa gets this kid-like grin and
asks if I want to dip them in some milk. No not rice milk, soy milk, almond
milk, but real cow's milk.

To be honest, I was being a nice husband but I really was not going to drink
the milk but I was happy for Elissa and she was excited so I went along for
the ride.

So we are carrying Drew in our arms and she is looking sweet and innocent
and Elissa asks one of the workers at the hotel bar if we could have some
milk for our daughter.

Now all we had to do was just ask for some milk for ourselves but the
request just sounded so -G-rated- like we were just too apple pie so Elissa
fibbed and said the milk was for Drew.

Meanwhile I am cracking up that Elissa chose to stretch the truth and all we
had to do was ask for the milk and pay for the milk. The people gladly got
the milk for our supposed daughter's drink and they gave with such love that
it made Elissa feel even more like a heel.

On top of that I gave her a hard time for lying in front of our daughter.

Now you may be reading this and thinking that Jason and Elissa really need
to get out more but there is a point to this ramble.

After we got back to the room I joked with Elissa that she was drinking Bad
Karma milk and that it might upset her stomach. We laughed out loud and
joked that just that instant there was cottage cheese curdles forming in the
karma filled liquid.

We finally put Drew to bed and thought of the lesson of truly walking our
talk as the milk may have seemed small but where else might this behavior
show up? Might we justify some gossip or slander?

Might we cut someone off on the road and blame them for reckless driving?
Might we skimp on a health choice and think that its ill effects will not
take hold?

Certainly we do not advocate living in fear, but rather we do try to stay
conscious of our choices, words and behavior.

At Living Inline, we are unique in that we do not treat your body and your
being as though your life is made up of individual experiences. Rather, we
serve you as a global person, with inter-connected experiences of mind and
body.

Who you are today is made up by the cumulative life experiences and choices
you have endured from both yesterday and many days before.

We enjoy serving you knowing that you are a sum total of all your personal
development and we could not have it any other way. It is an opportunity to
view life as interconnected and the health care model based upon segmented
services is changing.

You deserve health care practitioners that serve you as people having
experiences, not people with lab values or symptoms.

Approaching health and life on global terms means knowing that every
thought, action, word and deed you experience positive or negatively effects
every cell tissue and organ in your body and we celebrate this truth.

Thank you for all your loving support and we send you our best thoughts of
appreciation.
